Project Overview
This multi-phased project at the University Hospital, San Antonio Medical Center, is part of the University Health System Capital Improvement Program Mission, Target 2012. The Medical Center location project includes a new hospital tower, parking facilities, central utility plant expansion, and renovations of existing buildings. Sequencing of these phases are currently planned as follows:

624 Space Surface Parking Expansion

Underground Major Utility Corridor

3300 Space Parking Garage

Existing Hospital Structure Demolition and Site Preparation

A new Hospital Tower that is just under 1 million Square Foot

Renovation of Remaining Existing Hospital Structure
Construction on the initial phases are targeted to begin starting in January 2010.
The Zachry-Vaughn-Layton "ZVL" Joint Venture Team is responsible for the construction execution of each of these phases.
